[Kansas City, MO] — Following its recent spotlight as Record of the Week on BBC Radio, The Forcefields announce the release of their new single “Lion Tamer” available Friday, November 7, 2025 on Bandcamp and theforcefields.com as part of Bandcamp Friday when all proceeds go directly to artists.

There’s a swagger to Lion Tamer — the sound of someone who’s done asking for permission. Aayama Forcefield sings like the ringleader of an electric circus, calling out the quiet ways society teaches us to stay in line. The song struts between a voice that cracks the whip and the wild thing that refuses to kneel. It’s both a provocation and an anthem — for anyone who’s ever been told to stay small, behave, or play by the rules.“Lion Tamer is righteous and fierce,” says Aayama Forcefield. “It’s most definitely a challenge to the way things are.” At its heart, Lion Tamer questions the conditioning intended to keep us tame. Lion Tamer is a single from The Forcefields’ debut full-length album experience arriving Spring 2026, and will be supported by tours in UK, US and Europe.
